Etsy Find

I order from etsy...A LOT. I love the concept, supporting a small business and purchasing something that is custom and unique. There is something about a monogram or a custom piece that makes it mean more to me.

If you are on twitter you know that Baby C is a BIG BOY. His feet are the same size that Mini K wore when she was 3! A couple of weeks ago we put him in a 2T romper and he looked like he was waiting...on a massive flood. The 3T was huge around the middle and call me crazy but I refuse to pay to have aleterations done on every single outfit for an 18 month old.

So I thought, etsy will solve my problem and solve they did. I discovered Bradley Jean and immediately fell in love with their designs, style and their prices shocked me. A custom designed monogrammed smocked out for the same price I would pay for non-personalized out of a catalog.

I messaged Bradley Jean, took Baby C's measurements and ordered a bubble and a romper, both monogrammed and made to his measurements. H
ere is the stunner...they arrived, and fit perfectly, in less than 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wasn't able to get him to sit still for a photograph on Sunday when he wore the romper, but considering I could have sold 12 of them during mass alone, you get the idea. The fabric is great quality light khaki cord, the applique is monogrammed with top notch stitching and it fits perfectly!

I love the green of this romper. The thread is an ivory and it looks adorable with his white walking shoes and knee socks. I believe in knee socks. Little boys have the rest of their lives to wear Ralph Lauren and Thomas Pink button downs with pants so I plan on dressing Baby C as a baby!

Bradley Jean is offering you 10% your order with code: Fall2011. I am NOT being paid for this post and plan on ordering from them again, and again.

New Month, New Products!

I have mentioned that Grove Gal E and I have been working on a new line. Well we are excited to tell you that today is the day! Pineapple Grove Gifts is so excited to announce that we will be designing and manufacturing our own exclusive line of silicone smartphone and ipad covers!

When the Grove started we had two simple goals:

1. to help busy people give a gift that they would be proud to receive...some of you purchase on our website, some of you leave us voicemails at midnight and have a gift wrapped and in your hands by 9am the next day and some of you we have never met, but feel like we know everyone on your list after our email shopping dates!

2. have fun

What better way than to kick off our new line than by sharing it with all of you! For every 250 fans we get on Facebook we will be giving away a iPad or smartphone cover of your choice! So if you haven't "liked" us on Facebook, please do so, and if you repost our site on your Facebook page we will enter you twice! You can find us HERE.

Well somewhere along the way we realized that we were searching for things and coming up empty handed. I know my blog posts have been spotty this summer, but I am proud to show you what we have been working on! Both of us noticed that while we love our printed monogrammed hard phone cases, they tended to skip across the hard floor when dropped like stones on water. Mini K and Baby C are keeping Apple's glass replacement center in business! I noticed that my day job blackberry, in its boring PLAIN case never skidded.
So we got to work and we hope you love our new products as much as we do! Smartphones covers that have your own style but can go from the the boardroom to your handbag and anywhere in between! We also have designs for the men in your life so get your gift lists out. They make a statment while keeping the focus on you! Our silicone cases are designed to fit iphones and blackberries and our ipad cases will still allow your ipad to slide into our neoprene ipad cases. We know there has been talk on twitter about the prints on certain brands rubbing off. That will not happen with our cases as the design is ENGRAVED into the silicone.

Our smartphone cases fit the following models:
iPhone
3G/GS
4G

Blackberry
Bold 9000
Tour 9630
Curve 8300
Storm
Curve 8900
All models can be engraved in your choice of fonts:
Our iPad cases, custom designed to fit the iPad 1st of 2nd Generation

Modern

Classic

Personalized

Affordable

You can shop our entire collection HERE or email us at grovegifts@gmail.com to order!

We hope you like these as much as we do!

When Nothing Fits...

I HATE the maternity clothes part of pregnancy..which is probably why I worked out like crazy as soon as I found out I was expecting, but at 34 weeks, well, they are just needed. So since I refuse to make another purchase for myself, clothing that is, and Lilly P doesn't count, I have spent my energy trying to find some things for Mini K that isn't in every store in town.

Cue, my go to for all things fabulous and unique: ETSY

I think I have discovered some gems...what do you think?

I am in LOVE with the seller the Laughing Giraffe. Seriously, I want one of everything for Mini K! If you make a purchase tell her I sent you as I want her to save enough fabric for my order!!! The dress images below are from the Laughing Giraffe's store.

The Ava...$48

The Jane...$42

The perfect tunic for your little minnie from Dogwood Lane Clothes. The photo is from Dogwood Lane Clothes.

This headband from Nana Goat is perfect for tweens and grown ups too! I think it is a steal at $8...the perfect item to have a few on hand for that last minute hostess gift for Girls Night Out or birthday party. The headband photo is courtesy of Nana Goat

Mini K is going to look so cute in this rosette tank. I love the designer: Modern Frills from Dallas...okay well the Dallas part doesn't hurt either. Photo courtesy of Modern Frills

LOVE this teal bow clutch from esty seller Davie and Chiyo. At $75 it would make the perfect gift for your friend that has one of everything! Photo courtesy of Davie and Chiyo.
