Well guess what???? Mother was RIGHT!
We have taken a step backward....she has both West Nile and Lyme Disease. West Nile she will get over...but Lyme can become chronic.
I mentioned to her I had been blogging (ok not often, but I am trying) and she wanted me to pass a message on:
1. Thank you for all of your prayers and please keep praying
2. Ladies, trust your gut, you must ALWAYS advocate for yourselves when it comes to your health and everything else.
SHe has an appointment with a top Lyme doctor on October 14th, and that has taken some stress off of me.
I will be back later with a non-health post.

I am so thankful your mother pushed for herself! Please keep us updated.
I am sorry to hear about that. My friend was just diagnosed with chronic Lyme's disease and it has hit her bad. Praying for you mom.
Oh, goodness. I hope she is on the road to recovery soon!
I had to keep pushing (and went to four separate orthopedic surgeons) before I could convince someone that my knee wasn't okay. The whole "not being able to walk" thing was enough proof for me, but the MRI told a different story. When we finally did surgery, we found lots of soft tissue that was obstructing my kneecap. We are our own best diagnosticians. So glad your mama listened to her gut!
your so right! always trust your gut! hope your momma is feeling alright!
Doubling prayers for your mom! xoxo
Oh my gosh! I hope her appointment goes well and tell her your blog readers will be thinking about her :)
Wow! I feel like more and more often I am learning of people who KNOW that the doctors are wrong. They persist. Are called a PITA. But they are, in the end, right. It pays to follow your gut. Keeping your mom in my prayers.
My goodness, I hope your mom gets better, she's been in my thoughts since we talked about the topiaries. And you're right, trust your gut, tell your dr. I had to do that same thing once, drs. don't always know best!
Bless your mama's heart! I will certainly pray for her. Goodness gracious, she has a lot to deal with. Here's hoping that God will give her the strength she needs to get through this and get back to her productive life!
