Seriously....I Am Not That Old...Am I???????

I am not afraid of my age...YET. I am 34, and while I am more classic (LV, Gucci, handwritten notes over email) over trendy, today I felt old.

I had my ipod on speaker today and it may have been a little loud in my office. My phone rang, I answered and before I could turn the ipod down, the girl (read 23) , who called me said who is that singing, I answered: Vonda Sheperd. (SIDEBAR-Now you may not know her, but I am guessing you know the tv show she sang on...or at least until today I thought you would know)

Her response was WHO? I said she was on Ally McBeal, and sang the them song. Her response: who is Ally McBeal? Seriously is there an entire generation out there that doesn't know Ally McBeal? Wasn't it on around the same time as 90210? Or am I just wishing that was the case so I can make myself feel better.

For all of you out there who have been made to feel old today, let's take a trip down Ally McBeal Memory Lane..

I also made myself feel better with these fabulous Tory Burch wedges on super fabulous sale at Neimans!

Tomorrow we are off bright and early to drive to see the in-laws...the good news...Woodbury Common Outlets along the way!

I loved Ally McBeal, it was one of my favorite shows. I wish it were still on (sigh). You are not old, don't worry!

Oh I feel old like that all the time too with my college kids. I feel about the same age until they look at me like I'm a grandmother when I tell stories!

Of course Aly McBeal was THE show and not too long ago! I have that CD and LOVE it! You need to tell your co-worker that Calista aka Aly McBeal is on Brothers and Sisters and SHE does not look old!

My 14 year old neighbor didn't know who MJ was. Am I old? She also asked what an album was.

I feel your pain...I'm 36 and think I'm fairly hip and with it, but every once and a while I get a dose of reality!

I guess it was awhile ago, but it seems like yesterday!

I was just think about that show the other day. David Kelly has the midas touch with TV shows. I loved it and was wondering why there are never reruns of it.

It ran from 1997-2002 ( I had to google it). Thanks for the stroll down memory lane!
